Today’s topic is dating & relationships! This is gonna be a juicy episode so whether you’re single, in a relationship, married, or just simply want to hear our hot take on this subject, this episode is for you! We hope you have fun with us today while we share our different POVs with this topic - so get your hot drink ready and listen up as we spill the tea.

Julia: When I was in my early 20s, I put SO much pressure on dating and thought I needed to get married by 25. Over the past few years, I learned so much through different challenging experiences. It’s interesting how your perspective changes over the years, and now that I’m in my later 20s, 30 doesn’t feel that old at ALL.

Toni: Although I did get married young, I did not expect myself to get married young. It never was a goal of mine to get married at 23, but I met the right person at the right time. It’s funny how your expectations adjust as time goes on and you put unrealistic expectations on your life. In your 20s, just let it be because you are going to grow and change SO much. If it doesn’t play out the way you thought it would, that is okay!

Red flags in dating:

  • If they don’t know what they want

  • If they don’t plan dates

  • If they don’t have a solid friend group

  • If they don't listen to you, have bad communication/texting

  • No goals or career path

    Green Flags in dating:

  • Good communication skills

  • They have qualities that balance you out

  • A great sense of humor that matches yours

  • Positivity
